An Autobiography
I am a middle-aged woman who has struggled with weight issues all her life. Now that I am finally figuring out how to live in harmony with the body Mother Nature gave me, I have been hit with other health problems that really do slow me down. I am a proud feminist, a proud supporter of universal health care and I agree with Oliver Wendell Holmes who said, "I like paying taxes. With them I buy civilization." By US standards, I am a wild-eyed Marxist. By Canadian standards, I'm comfortably, though not wildly, left of centre. I am trying to raise two teenage boys to be feminists too.
